Epilogue: Israel and the Future

My thoughts on the heart of the Lord Jesus regarding Israel and the future

by Rosamund Weissman

My children, My heart is heavy
As My wayward chosen ones are drawn towards their destiny.
I formed them for My glory, as a light to the Gentiles
Yet they replaced Me with empty cisterns, with worthless idols.
I will not forget My covenant with them, My beloved ones.
I cannot fail them nor forsake them.
I will bring them through fire, through deep waters
To refine and to sanctify Myself in their midst
That they may look upon Me whom they pierced.
I long to be glorified in their assembly
To receive their praise
For them to bow down to Me.
Jerusalem will be taken, half the city will go into captivity.
They will cast lots for My people, barter a boy for a prostitute
And a girl for a bottle of wine.
See Me, coming from Edom, My garments stained with blood
In My anger, in My fury, to punish those who are destroying My people.
Yet I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked.
By My blood I purchased those from every tribe
And tongue and people and nation.
Whoever believes in Me will not perish but have everlasting life.
I invite you to feel My heart; to allow Me to melt your heart of stone.
Intercede for the victims and for the oppressors
For the weak and for the strong
For the children, for the parents, for the old
For the captives and for the armies.
Give Me no rest until I establish Jerusalem as a praise in the earth
Until ten men from the nations grab the robe of a Jewish man
And say, we want to go with you because we have heard that God is with you.
I am a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of My people Israel.
