Prayer of Salvation

Heavenly Father, thank you for sending the Lord Jesus Christ, Your divine precious Son, God in the flesh, to die on the Cross to pay the penalty for my sins. I deserve an eternal and dreadful punishment for my wrongdoings, yet You have saved me through Your sacrifice. Please forgive me for all my sins, for the ways I have offended You in my actions, words and thoughts. I believe that Your Son is alive because He rose from the dead on the third day, and I open the door of my heart to You Lord Jesus and ask You to come into my life through the Holy Spirit and be my Saviour and Lord. Help me to know the next stage in this journey of faith and repentance and lead me in living for You.
